Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Confirmation Officer and Load Planner to join our team in Wacol. Reporting to the Operations and Safey Manager, you will be responsible for being the primary point of contact for customers seeking to confirm deliveries for load production tonnes to plant within the Wacol site. Orders that are confirmed on loads will become necessary for Production on Demand.

 The role will also include but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for confirming achievable confirmed production tonnes prior to delivery
  • Monitor customer orders that are late, urgent or error rectifications and deemed urgent or priority by management to ensure completion and loading by existing facilities
  • Ensure all commitments on Error Rectifications and Urgent Orders are communicated to and agreed by Operations Manager/Shift Supervisors and Load Scheduler to ensure delivery commitments are met
  • Liaise with Operations /Production Manager to determine labor, resources, equipment and inventory is needed to cover production demand
  • Build confirmed loads to maximize production capacity and to customer requirements.
  • Consult with Production Planners to ensure plant capacity is achieved.
  • Liaise with site Project Managers & Customer Liaison Officer to ensure delivery requirements are confirmed and scheduled  for load build.
  • Liaise with internal or external customer clarify delivery requests.
  • Apply a degree of judgment, initiative and flexibility to resolve day to day difficulties within area of responsibility.
