Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Group Finance Manager to join our team at Wetherill Park. Reporting to the Chief Financial Controller, you will deliver professional accounting services and extensive financial support to the Ausreo business and its associated entities, ensuring compliance across relevant laws, codes, statutes, rules and regulations. Oversee and effective management of accounts payable, payroll, bank reconciliation, month end close and any associated reconciliations.  Additionally, the position is responsible for ensuring ATO compliance, preparation of company tax returns, consolidation of statutory accounts and managing Ausreo’s annual financial audit.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting & Compliance (internal and external)
  • Taxation (direct & indirect)
  • Insurances – general and workers compensation
  • Accounts Payable – manage team of 4
  • Payroll & Reconciliations – working with external service provider
  • Cashflow management and liaising with the bank
  • Fixed Assets management
  • Statutory Accounts preparation
  • Audit Management
  • Month End close coordination and reconciliations

 

To Be Successful 

  • 3 years in a similar role or a similar industry  
  • Able to build relationships and negotiate at all levels  
  • Intermediate MS office skills  
  • Time Management Skills  
  • Attention to detail  
  • Customer orientated, capable of competently liaising with internal staff and customers in professional and pleasant manner  
  • Work in team environment that fosters getting the job done  
  • Appetite for continual learning  
  • Goal orientated and effective time management skills allowing for set dead lines  
  • Ability to multi task people, events, systems and dead lines  
  • Self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised in the field whilst representing Ausreo publicly  
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills  
  • Treat co-workers and customers with professionalism and respect  
  • ACA or CPA qualified
