We have an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Project Coordinator to join our team in Sunshine North VIC. Reporting to the ATS Team Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating projects, use relationship management and commercial awareness to liaise with customers to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods and services with a view to promote Ausreo products and services to generate sales and maximum margins. The role will also include but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Manage all day-to-day issues associated with the supply of reinforcement to the project and ensuring client requirements deliverables are met.
- Proactively manage project issues, risks, and opportunities in consultation with the client and other key stakeholders
- Provide a customer focused service to support all aspects of the business which demonstrates that customer satisfaction is paramount
- Create and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders
- Interpret customers approved specifications, structural and architectural drawings and produce works schedules ready for manufacture and delivery.
- Interpret structural and architectural drawings for preparing cutting lists (works schedule)
- Actively promote Ausreo products and services to customers to generate maximum sales and margins
- Maintain structural integrity of the design when scheduling reinforcing steel consistent with Australian Standards
- Clearly articulate to customer’s information required on specifications, dimensions, delivery, and production requirements
To Be Successful
- Extended knowledge of construction sequencing and structural properties and designs
- Familiarity with all types of structural drawings for construction including domestic, residential, multi-storey, and civil works
- Ability to liaise with Architects and Structural Engineers in the preparation of RFIs.
- Understanding of BIM Modelling and working within a collaborative environment.
- Strong knowledge of AUTOCAD and experience working with 3D modelling software.
- Prior experience within the construction industry will be highly desirable including reinforcement detailing, construction management and civil works backgrounds.
- Customer orientated, capable of competently liaising with internal staff and customers in professional and pleasant manner
- Promote a team environment that fosters getting the job done
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
